In 2002 I was 13 years old and stalked, harassed and raped by Christopher Love. He was an adult, almost 10 years older than me at the time and he was able to do it by being a friend of my family (he was friends with my older brother at the time). In the beginning, whenever I was left alone, Chris would come over and make passes at me saying that the family had sent him to check on me and things like that. That’s how it began, from checking on me, to touching me, to having me touch him, to raping me over and over and over again. He threatened me not to tell anyone or he was going to hurt me and my parents. He did it for years and I never told anyone about it until now.
