Ashland Ohio Police Use Excessive Force against Homeless Man Accompanied by Perjury & Fabricated Charges

ASHLAND, OHIO – On October 15, 2025, Sergeant Eggeman and several officers of the Ashland Police Department deployed excessive use of force by holding a homeless man at gunpoint, citing erroneous reports of active felony warrants. Despite these assertions, the individual (victim) possessed no such warrants. The encounter, which took place as the man departed the GOASIS Travel Center on US-250, was predicated on intentional & faulty intelligence from an external jurisdiction.  This resulted in the unlawful seizure of the victim, their vehicle, and his dog, constituting a severe violation of their civil rights. Furthermore, the victim was subsequently arrested initially on what clearly can be discerned as fabricated charges of Obstruction.

Ashland Police Officers established a perimeter, positioning themselves in the parking lot of the travel center and along US-252, awaiting the victim (their target’s) departure from the gas station. Upon him pulling onto US-252, he was instantaneously surrounded by Ashland City police cruisers with their lights flashing, which prompted him to immediately pull over and simultaneously shut off his vehicle under the assumption of a minor traffic infraction.  Coincidentally, pulling back into the local Walmart that he was staying at. Officers did not approach the vehicle whatsoever; during this delay, with outside temperatures between 45-50°F and his windows being up, the man decided to open his sunroof in an attempt to initiate communication in what he referred to as the most “bizarre traffic stop in my entire life”. As documented in police reports, communication remained nearly impossible with both the victim and officers not being able to understand what was being said. The victim stated he had no reason to believe the stop was for anything other than a traffic citation, noting he had just visited the Ashland Sheriff’s Office earlier that day regarding ongoing personal matters.

Corrupt Sergeant Eggeman of the Ashland Police Department.

During the traffic stop and while in the process of opening his sunroof the victim mounted two recording devices atop his vehicle. Sergeant Eggeman immediately dubbed this as “concerning behavior” claiming it caused him to fear for his own personal safety. The man pointed out the irony, asking how his cameras could be perceived as a threat when the Sergeant himself wore a body camera for the exact same purpose. Eggeman scoffed, “I don’t think those cameras are even on,” only to be corrected by a fellow officer who admitted, “No, they’re real. He has a substantial following on social media; I actually watch his videos from time to time.”

“That’s weird,” Eggeman prodded, “Who ordered it (DRUG TEST)?… Why would you do that?”

The interaction took a sharp turn into harassment and intimidation when Eggeman began probing for drugs and asking questions regarding the man’s cameras. Even after the man explained he had voluntarily taken—and paid for—his own drug test earlier that very day, the Sergeant wouldn’t let it go. “That’s weird,” Eggeman prodded, “Who ordered it? Why would you do that?” Despite the man’s firm response that it was for “personal reasons,” Eggeman continued to grill him, fishing for a confession that never came or ever could come. For the man, the cameras weren’t a provocation; they were a necessary shield against the continuous targeting he faced almost daily.  In regards to the drug test – it served two critical purposes: it refuted his wife’s never ending false allegations (this time in reference to drug use) in the Ashland Courts pertaining to the custody of their children and it also satisfied the employment opportunity requirements for a highly coveted lab-tech position that he once held with a Ford and GM subsidiary.  Eggeman was also visibly rough and abusive with the mans dog, intentionally jerking him around and making him yelp, which could be audibly discerned through the officers car cameras with the homeless man stating “he’s a good dog, why are you doing this to him?”

READERS NOTE:  It should be noted that the victim in this case was also homeless partially in-part due to the Ashland Police Department, Ashland Municipal Courts & Ashland Common Pleas Courts as a direct result of the ongoing extreme targeting taking place against him.

THE RESULTS

Results from the drug test, received the following day, confirmed the individual’s account as entirely factual. The negative result proved he was not under the influence. Furthermore, he had personally funded the test specifically for a self-employment requirement—a fact that was unrelated to the traffic stop or subsequent arrest (as he is not and has never been a convicted hardcore drug user or trafficker in his entire life). Despite this lack of relevance, the test became an unwarranted focal point for the Sergeant. Ultimately, the man had sought the screening that day solely to protect his reputation and provide for his children’s future.

AËTOS SAYS:  Despite immediate and full compliance, the homeless guy was held at gunpoint and forced to his knees with his hands on his head before being placed in Sgt. Eggeman’s cruiser. While the sergeant confirmed a ‘Felony Intimidation’ charge (that never existed), officers truly planned to pass the situation to the LCSO – which was reiterated throughout the arrest. Knowing the stop was unjustified and lacking any felony warrants, Eggeman charged the compliant man with obstruction to cover his clear abuse – all by intent and design.

During a pre-trial hearing dated November 11, 2025, a question arose regarding the existence of felony warrants by Judge John L. Good for the victim at the time of his arrest, which the prosecutor affirmed and lied about, therefore committing perjury in open court. The man disputed this in court but was threatened and intimidated to not to speak further with contempt by the Judge as well as having his personal bond possibly revoked. Information indicates that there were no felony warrants active at that time (or even the time spanning from that arrest until this very writing). This exemplifies the lack of justification for the use of force, particularly given that the man had been at the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office earlier the same day, just hours beforehand as mentioned above.
  • Court Inquiry: Judge Good asked about felony warrants, and the prosecutor stated they existed (which was and still is a lie).
  • Defendant’s Response: The man denied the existence of felony warrants and was intimidated/threatened about speaking the truth by the judge (the man’s attorney was also entirely mute during this proceeding and was fired as a result of his actions regarding this situation and others that followed).
  • Findings: Records show no felony warrants were active at the time of the stop, and still none exist as of 2/3/2026.  Ashland Police conspired with an exterior law enforcement agent for a prolonged period of time, engaging in targeting behavior that eroded into unlawful treatment in many facets towards their victim.
  • Context: The man had visited the sheriff’s office earlier that day.

THE VICTIM’S DAY

This screen-recorded footage captures a homeless father’s final moments of freedom before his arrest. It begins with a tender evening in downtown Ashland, treating his children to pizza for dinner after they had come home from school, followed by a walk with the family dog at Freer Field. Later, settled in a Walmart parking lot, he intimately reviews photos of his children to cherish their recent days together—a necessary ritual since he cannot stay with them in the one-bedroom apartment he has them in. As he falls asleep in his vehicle, clinging to memories of their time together, he finds solace in the belief that his sacrifices will eventually lead to a better life for them.

THE AFTERMATH

Frustrated, the man posted a video of the encounter to his TikTok to raise awareness of the ongoing situation.

THE BOTTOM LINE

SCUMBAGGED Tip:  How many times does it take to show a clear and concise targeting operation taking place against an individual by multiple level’s of law enforcement, none more so than at the behest of the entire City of Ashland?  It’s kind of amusing at this point, almost like asking how many licks does it take to get to the center of a fucking lollipop…  Nobody really knows, alas, no worries, we will continue and so will they – until someone has to be held accountable.

AËTOS SAYS:  Who remembers the Lamb Chop N’ Friends theme song – “The Song That Never Ends” by Shari Lewis?  This should just be played as the entrance fucking music for the APD.  Anytime anyone see’s an APD cruiser or any arm of law enforcement in this city, whether it be the courts or the judge’s, the court appointed attorney’s, the state troopers, because that’s apparently how this system operates, under a never ending corrupt abuse of power and disregard for civil rights “that doesn’t end”…
