Anyway, he used to groom me when I was a minor, and he’s been grooming children online since 2018. Nothing has changed. In fact, I took Hawk’s advice and reported him to law enforcement. Other victims I’ve met have done the same thing, however, they do not give a single F. The police in his area did not take me seriously at all, and as far as I know, they did zero investigating whatsoever. I actually met one of my old friends online (who also was one of his victims. They were even younger than me.) and they said after a year of being silent, he messaged them again and offered to fly them out to see him (when they were a MINOR) so they could “meet.” Thank God my friend declined his offer, because I don’t even know what he would’ve done to them. Fast forward to this past year, and new screenshots of his attempts to lure children are still appearing online from time to time. In addition to that, River grew his hair out, now wears women’s clothing, and made a gofundme for gender affirming care.
I have absolutely no problem with the transgender community at all, but everything this guy does disgusts me, considering the type of person he is, and he certainly doesn’t deserve donations when he’s hurting people’s kids. Whats weirder is he still uses male pronouns. (Hence, me still referring to River as a he/him.) So who knows what’s actually going on with that. Anyway, things get even crazier. Several months ago, I checked back on his Instagram to see if it was deleted or if he ever got caught. By the way, it’s still up and running and he’s posting more than ever. But what is very unsettling to me is some of the photos he’s posted (some of which were deleted.) He had pictures of him and underage boys shirtless, in bed, kissing and cuddling. I’m not playing. Nobody ever batted an eye, in fact, his comments were full of people saying this was “hot.” Yeah, I nearly spit out my soda. At one point over the past year he had a girlfriend (I’m not sure what’s up with that) and he openly bragged on Instagram stories about cheating on her with men. Well the majority of those pics sure as hell weren’t men, they were teen boys. Absolutely vile. I forgot to mention that about a year ago, a few people confronted him via commenting on his Instagram posts, and he called them all names, gave a bunch of snarky remarks, and then blocked them. The fact that he is allowed to get away with everything he’s doing is extremely disturbing and sad. Knowing that he has progressed to actually luring these kids in and that nothing is stopping him breaks my heart and fills my soul with rage. I have gone far enough as to support a tip with screenshots to the NCMEC, and filed a police report against him. The agencies do absolutely nothing at all. Whatever shred of decency I tried to show this man is long gone now. I have tried time and again to bring justice to myself and these other children, and I feel like I’m fighting a losing battle. Something needs to be done about him, before he causes any more damage to any more innocent lives. His Instagram is still the same: @river.gibbs and now he has a new FB profile under the name “River Elias.” He is unrelenting with his actions and he is a frightening individual who needs to face the consequences of said actions.
