DES PLAINES, IL – If your looking for a new insurance company, make sure you don’t go with Founders Insurance. They will make sure to blow you the second your bill is late, or quickly cancel your policy, but if you get into an accident it will take you months to get it handled.
Horrible customer service, I got stuck working with a women named Anoli Campos. She has made this whole process horrible and stressful. The first call she was so rude and said they would have to do an investigation to make sure they were going to cover the accident, (I’ve been with them five years, never missed a payment, so I’m not sure why). After a week of hearing nothing from her I have her a call. I called for about a week getting no answer, finally I get a call saying it will be taken care of and next step was to get someone out to give an estimate on the car and that someone would call me to set up the appointment in the next couple days then from there would set up a time to come. I told her I didn’t have much time to waste as I haven’t worked in three months due to corona virus and couldn’t afford the rental much longer (199$ a week) she didn’t seem to care and said it would get done as fast as they could. Finally he came out about a week later, it took a whole week for them to get me the estimate and Finally got my car in the shop, yet it’s still unable to be worked on, because she won’t email or call the shop back to approve the estimate before he is allowed to touch it.
Not once has she contacted me, I have to blow her up to find out what’s going on. I’ve left over 20 emails and only gotten 3 back. Finally I had enough my car had been sitting in my garage for close to a month. I decided to blow her cell phone up back to back until she answered. After calling about 8 times she picked up and I told her what was going on she told me to hold on and she would get some info, SHE HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME! And sent me an irrelevant email. Smh.
I’ve called customer care, complained, asked to take to supervisors I was given the number for two different supervisors and left both of them two emails neither one of them got back to me. My car is still sitting in the shop it’s going on two months now and I’ve wasted almost 2 grand on a rental. This has been super stressful and cost me so much money.
I just wanted to warn everyone, yes they may be a few dollars cheaper than other companies but it’s NOT worth it, when you need them, they won’t be there for you!!
