Pierre Zarokian, the owner of the popular website ReputationStars.com has been engaging in extortion like practices for years. Pierre has utilized his website (just like many others) in an intricate scheme that helps enrich himself and his friends via “takedowns”. In all actuality there is zero law involvement, but simple cash payouts that are referenced as “donations”.
When a would be client contacts ReputationStars.com they are given a quote. The quote is generated based off of their wealth and stature in life. In the meantime, Pierre contacts the website in question where the link has been posted and offers them a “donation”. The donation isn’t a donation but really an extortion payment rendered for the removal of the link.
This is a new-age digital form of extortion and blackmail. Individual(s) cannot pay a third party source cash to have a link removed from another operating website, especially not when they are on talking terms with the owner(s) of the said company in question. Pierre Zarokian most likely has Nik Richie’s phone number on speed dial and probably speaks with him quite frequently. The two have also been rumored to have been seen meeting in person on at least one occasion. This has the appearance of a hand in hand operation that has allowed individuals to create and establish a seemingly profound and extremely secret (until now) blackmail and extortion foundation.

Fun Fact: Scumbagged.com has been contacted by ReptuationStars.com and other “reputation management” companies with offers ranging from as high as $10,000 for a senator and as low as $300 for another individual. We will not partake in these types of activities.
FEDERAL LAW
Federal law clearly states under 18 U.S. Code § 875 – Interstate communications “Whoever, with intent to extort from any person, firm, association, or corporation, any money or other thing of value, transmits in interstate or foreign commerce any communication containing any threat to injure the property or reputation of the addressee or of another or the reputation of a deceased person or any person…”
The law also goes on to state the following (in layman terms): “It is not necessary for a threat to involve physical injury. It may be sufficient to threaten to accuse another person of a crime or to expose a secret that would result in public embarrassment or ridicule. The threat does not have to relate to an unlawful act.”
The Bottom Line: This is a scumbag company that works hand in hand with other scumbag companies. They don’t use court orders, they don’t utilize lawyers, they simply take your money, pocket half of it and give the other half to the individual that has defamed you. It’s a bizarre operation and one that will surely net some federal indictments, it’s only a matter of time.
SCUMBAGGED Tip: Stop engaging in this practice. If you are a reputation management company and are buddy buddy behind the scenes with Nik Richie you should stop immediately. This isn’t only a Federal extortion crime but it’s also a conspiracy due to the amount of people involved. You’ve been warned…
Cant believe this is how they process takedowns. Total scam company!
