The sole purpose of Scumbagged is to provide unique, factually based information to our readers via submitted articles from our users.  We have no secret agenda and offer a public article submission form available to anyone who would like to report a Scumbag.

We understand that sometimes what is published isn’t to everyone’s liking.  Unfortunately, it might be someone you know, someone you grew up with or it could even be a family member.  At the end of the day it is the responsibility of the submitter to represent factual integrity within their article.  We go to great lengths to try to ensure that the story being featured is the truth (requiring details, documentation, screenshots and specific evidence in most cases).  Articles that do not meet the criteria set forth in order to be featured are published as “Blacklisted” articles.

    • Chief Anthony Campo of Sheffield Lake, OH (Exposed for a myriad of reasons, unethical behavior, illegal gun sales, eventually the pressure led to his own internal issues and ultimately his early retirement).
    • Chief Bryan Meshew of Creston, OH (Womanizer Chief caught in the act, needless to say he’s no longer the Chief of Creston any longer).
    • Cuyahoga County Warden Eric Ivey (Exposed for inhumane treatment of inmates, later investigated by our sources for tax issues, received 1 year of probation).
    • Cuyahoga County Regional Director Ken Mills (Exposed for inhumane operating conditions of the jail, sentenced to 9 months – in his own jail).
    • The Mayor’s Mosque of North Ridgeville (Needless to say there isn’t a Mosque in Ridgeville, not after we ran the story and the local news, which they tend to do, decided to jump on board with normalcy).
    • Officer West of North Ridgeville, OH (Retired shortly after article ran on him in regards to groping a juvenile man).
    • Aces Bar & Grille of North Ridgeville, OH (A crooked and corrupt owner found himself losing his business shortly after he was exposed).
    • Social Media Monster Documentary (Scumbagged was featured within this documentary filmed by accredited Columbus filmmaker Peter John Ross).
    • LINC Program (Scumbagged help champion the LINC program throughout Lorain County with various levels of Law Enforcement directly & indirectly.  This program helped save countless lives by placing hundreds of drug addicted men & women into drug treatment facilities for free and without fear of arrest).
    • Cancer Clusters & Highest MS Rate in the Country (Reached national level coverage regarding Avon/Lorain & Wellington respectively, shedding new truths, light, hope and reality into the regions in which the populace resides – and perhaps, the why’s of their conditions).
    • War with TheDirty.com (The infamous Nik Ritchie attempted and threatened to sue Scumbagged, intimidated us in a David vs. Goliath styled confrontation at the time in which we were relatively new on the scene per-se (less than one year of operation).  This proved to be a legendary confrontation between West Coast and East Coast rivals in a “nerdy” kind of way with Scumbagged prevailing in the end).

NOTE:  There are hundreds of articles that have been published since 2017 that have resulted in corrupt business closures, changes made to local jurisdictions and municipalities and individuals incarcerated that are not listed above.  Many success stories come in the form of small and unknown matters, such as; the family that received their money back on Christmas, the children returned to families (or the ones protected), the unsung heroes not to be named and so on.
